Game of Thrones
I just finished this book and absolutely LOVED it
HBO is coming out with a new series based on this book (which is part of a trilogy) in April so i wanted to read it and see what all the hype was about and i have several friends who've recommended it in the past
For anyone interested in a really good soap opera type story, i'd totally recommend this book. Think Pillars of the Earth, but more fantasy based in that it takes place in a make believe land, has kings and dragons and all that stuff. Your basic good vs. evil, bad guys, good guys, epic battles/stories etc
I don't usually enjoy fantasy style.. but this gripped me from start to finish.
I'm on the 2nd book now 'A Clash of Kings'
