Game of Thrones 6/8/14 ***spoilers***
Ok, I admit I cried during the Jon Snow | Ygritte scene.
Soooooooo, Aemon Targareyen (Maester Aemon) was The Mad kings Brother aka Oberyn's Brother In Law? Or was he his son? I'm so lost. 
This whole episode was pretty intense, at first I was a little disappointed that the entire episode was going to dedicated to this war, but it was great!

I didn't cry but I was so sad during that scene.
I held my breath when that other guy went into the storage room with Gilly.
I can't believe next week is the season finale. Bummer.
Glad True Blood starts but I know that show's going to be a colossal disappointment.
Looking forward to The Leftovers too.
HBO is the bomb.

I FEEL THE SAME WAY!!! I still have one last season of The Newsroom to look forward to, but I don't know what I'm going to do after the summer (except, prepare for this baby's arrival, lol).

I loved the episode. I was really surprised that they were doing a full episode dedicated to the wall. It was a beautiful scene between Jon Snow & Ygritte, but utterly sad. I'm loving how he's stepping up into the leadership role so well...

Was it just me, or did the music that went with the fight scenes totally add to your anxiety? I am so glad that guy got an ax to the head.
Such a sad scene between Ygrit and Jon, the way he clutched her at the end.... ... I love how they left it up in the air if she was really going to shoot him or not, I tend to think no.
Can someone explain to me what he is going to do now? Go and meet the head of the wildings? Please, for the love of God, let SOMEONE be victorious this season

I was curious too & googled the Targaryen family tree - because I'm a dweeb lol
I looked at a few different ones like this one & it looks like he's a great grand uncle. Is that even a thing or did I just make it up? lol
ETA: I was also bummed that the episode was going to be entirely about the Wall, but it was pretty great. I guess that I'm the only one that was happy to see Ygritte go, though. I thought that she was a terrible, murderous person! I guess I'm not too much of a romantic lol
