FYI About Gap Gift Cards
Just wanted to let you know that you can use Gap Gift Cards on Gap.com, OldNavy.com, Banana Republic.com & Piperline.com. The same goes for each one of the other stores too but you can only use the exact stores gift card at the store. I was able to purchase clothes for DS from OldNavy.com by using Gap gift cards.

they wouldnt let me use a old navy gc at GAP last week.

You can not use a different gift card at a different store. You can only use a different one online.
