Furniture Upholstery

Has anyone had their couches or a chair upholstered? I am looking into doing this for our current couches but don't even know where to start. TIA

I did, it's not cheap. But if you love the piece I say go for it. I did my grandmothers chairs, unfortunatley I do not have a before, but the fabric before was gold. I used CLS in Ronkonkoma. They were awesome...

Here are the two chairs. They are over 40 years old !

my mother in law did this too, don't remember the place she used though sorry! I'll have to ask her. I just had to say your chairs came out GORGEOUS! especially that they were your grandmothers, how awesome!

If you don't mind my asking, what is the approximate cost to do this?

I have a 50 year old chair, somewhat similiar to yours, that belonged to my grandmother. I got one quote of about $900. Is that about right? I love the chair, but I am trying to figure out if I love it enough to spend that much money on it. lol

The two chairs I had done were $1500.00. Chat Icon but, to me they were worth it because of the sentimental value they held. I opted not to redo the couch she left me. It would have been just too much.
