furniture from direct buy
Has anyone bought their baby's furniture from direct buy? Can you see the furniture in their showrooms from before hand and how are the brands that they have(quality)? Thanks!

I think there is a hefty fee to join Direct Buy and they don't let you into the showrooms until you pay the fee (I want to say it's in the thousands to join)

Yes, when my friend was re-doing her home she told me it was upwards of $5K. They ended up not joining, but I am not sure that she actually sit down to figure out if the cost would have translated into more savings.

I heard it is 7.5k now.
You can probably get a better deal at those North Carolina furniture stores if you're just getting the baby furniture.
Unless you're buying 50k worth of furniture, paying a few $$$ for the privilege of buying at a discount is rather steep!

Well if you already joined then the savings are great for baby furniture. I joined a couple of years ago and I just ordered my second set of nursery furniture. What I did was go there or online see what brands they carry and then I went to Behrs and sukons to see the sets in person. I then ordered and saved a decent amount. Let me know if you need to know anything else.
