Furniture

Where did you purchase your DC nursery furniture? My 16mos old has a cherrywood collection we got from BabiesRUs and it sucks. I should have known better since my 17 yr old DD furniture came from there when she was a baby and it lasted almost 2 yrs.

I don't want to make that mistake again.

TIA

Bellini. It's expensive but I like that her crib converts not only to a toddler bed but a full size bed. Plus they never discontinue their collections so when dd is bigger I can get the matching desk when she's in school.

Re: Furniture

Dd has bona vita furniture from bbb. It was ds furniture and it is seven years old. There are a few scuff marks but over all it is in excellent condition.

Ds has pottery barn furniture and so far so good.

Re: Furniture

$$ does not equal quality.
I have a bunch (kids are watched in different environments).

Munire was prettiest, but scratched super easily.

Had a bbb crib that held up well. Not sure what brand it was.

IKEA has very highly rated cribs that I have converted to toddler beds & back & disassembled & reassembled. They are great for a crib and at around $100! The ones I have actually have held up super well. Can just wait a few years & buy real furniture for kid when they are done with toddler bed.
