Funny taste
Anyone else get a funny taste in the mouth during pregnancy?
\The only way I can describe it is like a aluminum kinda taste. I brushed my teeth twice and have had things to drink n eat but the taste is still there, Is this a normal pregnancy symptom or could it be something else?

Ugh, I had it for the first 4 months! Its the worst, I feel your pain. The taste was making me nauseous and gum/candy only helped temporarily.
I guess its normal, although not too many people I know had it too. I am anemic, so I don't know if its related.
The only thing I could tell you is that mine just suddenly disappeared one day so there is hope! Good luck

I think it's totally normal to have a lingering metallic or funny taste in your mouth during pregnancy. I had the same issue early on when I was like 5-6 weeks. It lasted like a week for me.

Thanks guys! I didn't have it with my 1st dc so I was like ugh what is this nasty taste lol hopefully I only have it for a week or two but I guess time will tell .
Glad to hear its somewhat common though.

I have it too for a few weeks now! It's tasteless and reminds me of what happen when I'm close to recovering from the flu or bad cold.
Not pleasant! To make it worse, with me, there's a nasty sour aftertaste in my mouth after drinking coffee. Ugh!
I pop hard candies to get rid of that taste...

When do you take your prenatal vitamin? If I took mine antyime besides nighttime it made me feel yucky.

I get this when too much time has passed between my feedings. LOL. Once I eat something it usually goes away.
