 | Re: Caesarean Birthing your own child Wow, that's really interesting. My Doctor is set against me getting a VBAC. As insane as this seems, I wonder if he'd be dead set against this... |

 | Re: Caesarean Birthing your own child Hmmm, not sure if I would want to help pull the baby out myself (the thought could make me pass out ) but I definitely want the baby with me in the recovery room next time around. Will have to speak to my OB about it more when the time comes |

Yeah, the pulling the baby out myself is a little much (don't think I'd do it with a natural birth either), but I would love to have the baby on my chest afterwards.

I had my baby with me in recovery very shortly after giving birth which I didn't expect but was pleasantly surprised by. Unfortunately the problem with the c-section is that you are so drugged up in recovery that you can barely enjoy it...at least I was. It got to the point that I wanted to ask them to take the baby because I was afraid I was going to drop him since I felt like I was going to pass out from the drugs and exhaustion. Luckily, they must've realized and they took the baby without my asking, which was a relief because I would have felt horrible if I had to ask.
