Was it really painful? I'm in so much pain and have been for a couple of days and I'm having some light bleeding too (sorry TMI). I'm guessing this is normal but wanted to ask you all.

Re: First time you ovulated after having the baby...
In all my life I have never known when I ovulated so I am no help. I would imagine that its probably a big adjustment for your body to get used to doing all that "stuff" again.
   Hope you feel better soon.
editied: that was supposed to be LOL but it was jumpers and now i can't fix it

Same as Jen - I have no idea when I ovulate so no...I guess I don't feel it. I think it's cool that you know that though and I hope it passes quickly!

Occasionally I get what is called mittelschmerz. I never knew what it was called until recently.
Description: Lower-abdominal pain that is: One-sided Recurrent or with similar pain in past Typically lasting minutes to a few hours, but may extend as long as 24-48 hours Usually sharp, cramping, distinctive pain Severe (rare) May switch sides from month to month or from one episode to another Begins midway through the menstrual cycle
If you think about it as - you haven't ovulated in 10+ months, I could see why it would be painful.
I just use motrin. It also helps to lay on my stomach. Oh - and this is where the labor class breathing comes in handy.

Worse pain ever!!! I thought there was something wrong with my insides, or it was from my c-section, but my Dr said it was normal, I also had a VERY heavy period.
