 | Working moms/Moms in general---ever have a day... Where you don't think you could do it anymore?
Today Bella wouldn't take her morning nap (which, if she doesn't, is BAD!)
and when she finally fell asleep I had to wake her up 30 minutes later and RUSH, rush, rush to get her and me out of the house. She spit up all over the place, so I had to clean that up.
So I had to fly to daycare and had a difficult time leaving her which left me literally RUNNING for the train and ducking under the gates (as usual) and couldn't fill the muni-meter so I will probably have a ticket waiting for me.

Plus mondays her diaper bag is a million pounds for daycare BUT I managed to forget her bottles
and she had to use their back-ups...
Top that with a four and a half hour meeting from hell and a shoot, I just got to my office to find out that plans for our anniversary this weekend are falling apart and I have to somehow get to the supermarket because I promised to make dinner for our actual anniversary tomorrow...

I wanna scream...what the hell? Please tell me it will get better...I am so stressed!

 | Re: Working moms/Moms in general---ever have a day... It gets better! Once you get into a routine, everything works itself out. It is not easy (I am exhausted tonight and my dh made dinner so I am grateful). Once I get both kids in bed, I am laying down myself with a good book, Smartfoods Popcorn and the TV-lol!

 | Re: Working moms/Moms in general---ever have a day... Thanks everyone...I just felt overwhelmed sitting in my office today with the blackberry buzzing and both the cell and office phone ringing...
 I didn't get a ticket
and DH made me dinner and gave me my Anniversary presesnt early (UGGS and a pretty candle holder with a nice saying on it!)
I really don't have it so bad with Bella being a dream child...it just feels like a Calgon day sometimes...

 I appreciate all the

 | Re: Working moms/Moms in general---ever have a day... I totally understand those days. Emily was awake at 5:50 this morning so at least I got to see her for about 20 minutes before work -- but then I had to go to work and just got home now at 9:30 and she's already in bed. Today was a day where I just wanted to quit my job, drop out of classes and be with my baby and noone else!! |

I've had those days too. I work on Wall street (not very family friendly) and there are days when I just want to give it all up.
Do something nice for yourslef - You deserve it!
Sounds like your DH is a good guy for making dinner, and making your anniversary special.

 | Re: Working moms/Moms in general---ever have a day... It will get better, I PROMISE. The first two months were really hard for me, and I reached my breaking point when I was told at work that I need to improve my performance about 3 weeks ago... I seriously contemplated never showing my face again in the working world. But I plugged through and we have a nice little routine going now... sure, some days are hard, but generally, once you hit that routine and ease into everything, it will get better... in the meantime, take a nice, loooong, hot bath |
