need ideas for a birthday gift
My friend's son is turning one in a few weeks and I want to buy him a present. What are some good ideas for a gift? I'd like to keep it in the $50-$60 range.
  Thanks Ladies!

What about a gift certificate so she can get him something he needs.

Thanks Ladies! I knew I would get great ideas if I posted here!
Do you think $50 is enough for Build-a-Bear?

Re: need ideas for a birthday gift
Build A Bear would be cute for a kid that's a little older, but my daughter is almost 11 months and I can't imagine trying to do that with her. She'd be more interested in pulling everything out of the bins that trying to pick stuff for her bear. My friend's 2 year old would be into that more.
I'd say a toy from Fisher Price or Leapfrog that's for 18 months plus would be good. Sarah has always been able to handle toys sooner than what the age limit on the box is. She loves her Little People farm that she just got for Christmas.
