ok finally got pics from shower
I had such a nice time and I think everyone else did too! My Aunt and my Mom did such a great job planning and kept it a surprise. Image Attachment(s):

My mother handmade all the centerpieces to go with my bee theme. She made the candles herself, one for DH, Scott, the blue one and the rest were yellow so they'd look like honey and she put them out as favors. I didn't end up with a good pic of the centerpieces, but they were great as well Image Attachment(s):

My Mother being the sentimental mush that she is also re-wrapped original gifts that she was given for me when she was expecting me along with a story for each which I had to read out loud so I was sobbing continuously as I was opening. They included the blanket that my Grandmother taught herself to crochet so she could make something special for her first grandchild, an knitted outfit from my Aunt's mother, and then the topper was a gift from my Mom with a poem including an explanation about how she taught herself to quilt so that she could make this quilt for her first grandchild. needless to say I was a complete sobby mess, but it was really touching. Reminded me of those of you who said your father's hand made the rocking horses for the baby. So sweet. DH and I thought her hand made label on the back was the best part! It has both of our baby pics on it! Image Attachment(s):

Everything looks wonderful  What a creative and sweet mom you have. Her centerpieces are amazing and her gifts sound so beautiful and thoughtful!!

Thanks, that's one of my favorites. Love Burlington, I've got such great stuff there for maternity wear. I guess sometimes I'm surprised we're not all walking around in the same outfits.
