 | When the baby is at the hospital... do you supply anything for it besides a going home outfit?
I see some of the packlists and people wrote that they brought undershirts or whatever, but I'm not sure what else I may need just for the baby.

 | Re: When the baby is at the hospital... No you dont need anything for them. They generally have them in a long sleeve side snap shirt, diaper and swaddled in a receiving blanket. |

 | Re: When the baby is at the hospital... You don't need to bring anything expect for the going home outfit. If there is a hat or a blanket that you would like your baby to have in the 'cart' with them, I would bring that.

Your getting down to the wire now right?

 | Re: When the baby is at the hospital... Honestly all I needed at the hospital was the car seat and going home outfit. I did bring other things but didnt need any of it. The hospital will provide you with everything (pacifier, bottles, diapers, wipes, etc) |

 | Re: When the baby is at the hospital... All you need is the car seat and going home outfit. Do not forget to take everything that is in the bassinet in the hospital, home with you. It is all yours. If you have a bag, every time they bring the baby in to you, take stuff and when they replenish the draw take more stuff. Also do not forget to take everything that they give you for you, for your recovery. You will need it. The pads, the covers for the mattress, the bottle to clean down there, creams and anything else they give you, take home with you.
You are saying that you are having the baby on Mon. are they inducing you? How do you know you are going to have DD on Mon.?

 | Re: When the baby is at the hospital... Thanks again everyone.
I am going to the Drs at 12:30 tomorrow and he is going to check where her head is.

After that, we will decide if he is inducing me tomorrow or getting me into a C-section tomorrow (possibly tuesday).

So, by the end of the week I will be on the other side!!

 Thanks!

 | Re: When the baby is at the hospital... I packed a full outfit -- some diapers (unecessary) onesie, 2 piece outfit, hat, mittens, socks, recieving blanket.
In retrospect I didn't need all of that.

 | Re: When the baby is at the hospital... Where are you delivering? At LIJ, they don't provide pacifiers. If you plan to use them, you might want to sterilize them and bring them with you.
 Good luck!!!

I saw you mentioned on the other board that you have two dogs. You might want to bring an extra blanket so your DH can bring it home to the pups before you get home from the hospital. If you are doing that....it might not be necessary. You know your dogs best.
