 | How can I go about finding a painter helper? DH and I agreed that he was going to paint the house after the construction was over...we didn't think it was necessary to pay thousands of dollars for a painter, when DH can do this himself (he's unemployed at the moment, so plenty of free time). However...it's a much bigger job than either of us thought....how can we find a helper? Neither of us have any family or real friends in the area....any suggestions? Thanks.

Thanks...I asked Scott, but I'm in NJ, so I think that's too far for him.

Anyone else want to come to NJ to help paint

Did you try looking in the local pennysaver?

Yes...but I'm only looking for someone to help my DH, not do the whole job...don't want to spend thousands, but I'm willing to pay for a helper.

Kim, it can never hurt to ask these guys! I'd call them anyway and explain your situation. You never know if they have a son/nephew who they can recommend.

Or even just look for a handyman they usually charge by the hour.
