 | Re: Recommendations for places to buy carpet? I forgot to say that you should get estimates from other places before you call Empire.  We found that you could negotiate with them, where other stores weren't willing to do that.   |

 | Re: Recommendations for places to buy carpet? We used empire and were NOT happy. They basically charge you for 1.3 feet for every 1 foot you need and we wound up with an insane amount of carpet left over that we paid for and for the installation of! |

 we are buying our stair and hall runner from them.  they are SO nice and reasonably priced.  definetly make sure (regardeless of who you use) that you can take home samples to test the color and quality.

 they are on larkfield (north of pulaski, south of jericho).  there are very close to dunkin donuts (a little south, same side of street).  they are a small store and i always seem to drive past it. LOL!!
