Tax is due 1st of April, right?
will we be getting a bill? Who should I call to speak about this?
(sorry, I know these sound like stupid questions!  )

what do you mean? if you have to pay? taxes have to be done by April 17th so if you owe money I would think you would send it in after that date. HTH.

The due date is April first but you really have until May 1st to pay them.
If you are self pay then you receive a double tax stub once a year. You can pay the entire year (and save a nominal amount... my Dad's savings is about $31 dollars ) or pay 1/2 and 1/2.
All I know is the Town of Oyster Bay. As he's disabled I write out all of his checks... only reason why I know.
