 Carrying very low...
I'm 25 weeks, and I was wondering if anyone knows if carrying low poses any danger to the baby? I was at work this morning, and I had a BH contraction, so the school nurse came to check on me. She was a L&D nurse for 25 yrs, and checked out my belly, as she was feeling, she said I'm carrying VERY low. The baby is completely below my belly button. I didn't think to ask her if that was ok or not. Just wondering if anyone else is carrying that low. She did say it explains my extreme back pain, though.

 Re: Carrying very low...
I'm carrying very low also - the baby has always been below my belly button. My mom says she carried the same way, and my Dr's not concerned so I'm not worried about it.

 Re: Carrying very low...
I am also carrying very low. the dr said as if now he is not concerened at all. I am 26 weeks tomorrow, about the same as you.
I know you said you were having back problems - I agreed that I was as well. just bought a mternity belt and it seems to be taking pressure off lower back, worth a try!

 Re: Carrying very low...
I carried extremely low my whole pregnancy and everyone was worried Iwas going to go into early labor, especially since i'm a nurse on a busy floor and do a lot of walking, etc... BUT-I was 3 days late
