Somebody looking for a good deal on a Plasma TV ???
People have FMed me in the past about getting a good deal on a TV. I believe I found one.
Microcenter will have an Akai 42" HDTV plasma for $1199 after two $100 mail in rebates.
Here is a copy of the ad - its on the right side
The specs in the ad are incorrect I believe. It only says 37" viewable size but that can't be true. If you go on Akai's website... they don't make any 37" plasmas and their 42" plasmas have a 41-42" viewable range.
Very good price for a 42" HDTV plasma. Sale is for 2/19 and 2/20. If you are serious about getting one... get there early (when they open). These will go quick.
Microcenter is located in Westbury on Merrick Avenue off Old Country Road.

It got decent reviews from other owners. If you hook up a Hi-Definition signal to it... it will look good.
