Fun walking tour NYC
Any recommendations for one? Wanted to do something different for my father's birthday everyone can enjoy. My mom mentioned a Greenwich walking and tasting tour. Any others?

This site has a lot. I did a few walks with a sister company in London and they were excellent.

I do not know if these are walking tours. I only know of it because the sister of a friend runs the company. It's tv/movie related:

I did a cupcake tour with my dc that I bought on groupon. It was so much fun and we were so stuffed afterwards. We met at union square and then meandered down through the village. It wasn't just cupcakes- we stopped at a gelato place and a cookie shop as well. I think it was through Great New York tours. I believe they do other tours too - ds really wants to do the chocolate tour.
I also want to add that we were recently at the Lower East Side Tenement Museum and I saw that they do a walking and tasting tour of the neighborhood as well. We didn't do that one but it looks great.

I love the tenement museum.
I did a walking tour or Arthur Avenue in the Bronx a few years back with the Institute of Culinary Education.

Over this past summer, friends and I did UrbanQuest and it was a blast! Its basically a scavenger hunt, but it brings you to really cool landmarks. You can choose the level of difficulty. My advice is to start early so you're not doing it at night, otherwise it will take forever. We did the Central Park quest and it was so much fun.

These scavenger hunt type things sound really fun, and I wonder if my daughter would want to do one with her friends for her sweet sixteen. Does anyone know any really fun ones for teens?
