Fun activity with an almost 2 year old?
I realize I have buckets of time, but I'm looking for a fun activity to do during the last week of April with my almost 2 year old and my mom.
Tuesday were going to the Lego place upstate
Thursday-Sunday we're going to Nashville.
Is she too young for American girl place?
Would there be cute stuff to do in the city?

How about the LI children's museum?
I think that age is young for the amerlcan girl store, but I tend to hold off on big experiences like that until they can really enjoy/appreciate it.

Manhattan children's Museum
Bronx zoo
Central Park zoo
Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk
LI Aquarium
Museum of Natural history--dd loves the butterfly conservatory and the dinosaur bones

I'm not a huge fan of licm for something special-stepping stones looks nice though!
Zoo and aquarium we have memberships, so we go pretty regularly.
Perhaps I'll do stepping stones or the natural history museum.

A lot of the local zoos don't have all their animals out until the weather is warmer. I remember the queens zoo in May was fairly empty animal-wise.
The Brooklyn botanic gardens are beautiful in April, and there's plenty of space for your dd to run around.
