Ft. Myers beach
We are going down to visit my fil, we have been numerous times, but was wondering if anyone had any new suggestions on things to do. We usually hit the beach, pieces of eight pirate cruise, rent a boat...
Not looking to drive anywhere too far (captiva, sanibel) and not the museums.

I'm going for the first time in May!
Just read about pirate cruise & was thinking about renting a boat: what kind do you rent & is it easy with kids?
We are also going to be just relaxing in beach & pool, but would love doing something unique.

My kids love the pirate cruise, they do a great job. The restaurant at the marina there is pretty good too. They serve drinks and ice cream on board.
You can rent a pontoon boat, which is fun. You can usually spot Dolphins as you go along.

Thanks! Was looking at the pontoon rentals... It looks like such a blast!
