FSH
OK, so I have no clue what we are doing. Went for IVF session and scheduled for water sono. Now, I find out my FSH is still elevated now it's 42 (was 67), but I am not sure what my other levels show but I assume they are ok.
Being the newbie that I am, does this mean IVF is totally out? Can you keep testing monthly and if FSH is lower, go for the IVF (I have full coverage). I am probably pre menopausal. I keep speaking with Nurses who are great. DE is a probability but I don't have that kind of money. I don't know what to do.
If I do IVF, I am putting all these meds into me but it may not even work with such high FSH. I am so confussed. Any suggestions?

Re: FSH
My RE isn't considering IVF since my FSH is >30. He let me do an IUI/follistim cycle this month, but like he predicted I did not respond to the meds. I had 5 follies at day 3 then after 4 days of meds I had 1 but tiny and didn't grow (still after a week + of meds) and my E2 levels which should rise as the follies grow stayed the same so they cancelled the cycle. He is letting me do another one once I get my period with a little different protocol. I think DE is my only other option...

Re: FSH
My FSH is high as well and the RE I had been seeing told me that IVF was not an option. He said that the higher your FSH, the less chance of a successful IVF.
There are REs who will work with women with high FSH levels. I haven't spoken to any yet but I don't think that a high FSH means IVF is out.

Re: FSH
I think Dr. San Ramon is suppose to be good with ladies with high FSH. I've decided to go for a consultation with him.

I see Dr. San Roman and I have/ had a high FSH. He has been very good so far. We have gotten my FSH down to 14 from 71. I can't say for sure what my next step will be, but this is definately one in a good direction. I definately recommend seeing an RE that will work with individuals who have high FSHs.
