Re: Front load washer and dryer..
The dryer is fine.
I HATE my front load washer.
It cleans fine, saves water but it has to stay open all the time or it smells. I've tried it all the washing machine cleaners, bleach, tub clean cycle etc. Nothing works. We have to dry the seals after every load and it still smells if we close the door. So I get to look at the door of the washing machine every time I look down the hallway. It is only a year old, but I am seriously considering throwing it out and getting a top loading washing machine.
It is LG and was supposed to be top of the line, but maybe somebody has had better luck with another brand.

Re: Front load washer and dryer..
I agree with the washer comments about smelling, also for me the dryer has a sensor which is supposed to turn the dryer off when stuff is dry but if one thing hits the sensor dryer turns off and clothes are still damp, so we have to use the manual time dry we have the samsung brand

Re: Front load washer and dryer..
I have an LG Front Loader washer (2 years now) and it's fine -- I haven't noticed a smell, it's very effecient and easy to get clothes in and out of --- I like it a whole lot better than the other ones.

Love my front loader. Had one for 10 years now. Never any issues with smell. Ours is a Kenmore Elite.

Re: Front load washer and dryer..
I would never get a front load washer after talking to people who have them - too many issues they say - they smell, can't open the washer once you start the load...
