Front door decor?
does anyone have decor on their front door? like a wreath? or a welcome sign? i recently had a glass screen door installed and i started keeping my front door open to let the light in but now you can see the front of the door inside the house and it's so blah looking...it doesn't help that my front door is painted green - it has to be b/c of HOA, yikes! so i'm thinking if i hang something cute it might look nice both inside and then when i have the door shut from outside....but i don't want anything cheesy or out of style...any ideas on how to dress it up??

I usually have some sort of seasonal wreath hanging on my front door. (Christmas, Easter, fall foliage, spring florals, etc.)

I've always hung wreathes. I put a storm/screen door last summer and now my wreathes dont fit the storm door closes on them! So I have nothing now. My front door is black with a small window up top.

I got a little "LIBERTY" wooden sign for the 4th at Michaels....
After that I'm changing to a dried lavendar wreath I got from PB

thanks chicas...kim brought up something i didn't think of - a wreath may not fit with the screen door if it's too thick....i can always try making one myself that will fit  that would be scary!
alright i'll have to look around, any suggestions on where to find something nice for this time of year? i know around the holidays they have nice ones everywhere but for the spring/summer?

i just googled sunflower wreaths....i love sunflowers and it would go with my home decor....maybe my mom can help me make one.....if i do it i'll post a picture...

What do you do if you have double doors? We have double doors, but only use one of them to go into the house-I feel like I need two identical wreaths to decorate both doors-b/c if I hang one, the other looks weird. But would it look weird to have identical wreaths?

As for where to look - I get a lot of my wreaths/door decor from A.C. Moore and Michaels. I don't go for anything too pricey because I like to change it up a lot, but they always have a decent selection and often have coupons.

Right now I have a balloon wreath up that I made (minus the sign) that was from my DD's b-day party.

Someone here made a Monogram of the letter of their last name I think it was a "M" and put flowers all over it, looked so pretty.
