From RnP to Crib Question
DS is just about 6 weeks old and since I will be returning to work in a few weeks, we are thinking about starting the transition from the Rock n Play, where he sleeps now, to his crib.
At the risk of sounding stupid... how do we make the move? He looks so snug and cozy in the RnP and the crib is so barren and cold looking. Do we simply swaddle him up and put him down in there?
Feel free to share any best practices!!

From RnP to Crib Question
Yes, you can swaddle. DD was in the RnP for 4 months before we made the transition.

We swaddled too. It made it easier.

From RnP to Crib Question
I initially put my dd in the pack n play with the bassinet in it. This way she could get used to sleeping flat and having room. I put it in my room for about 2 weeks. I seen she was getting used to it. The first week was a little rough which I expected but each night got better. The first night she woke up every 2-3 hours. Then the next night 4, the next night 5. and then before I knew it she was sttn. And LOVED rolling around LOL I didn't do the swaddle thing but only because my dd HATED it. I know a lot of friends it worked for. Then after 2 weeks I put her in her crib. no problems at all. and she loves it! still does.
