Friends OF Friends
do you find that you end up often being friends with your friend's friends????
i notice this alot with me.
is that weird? do you find it to be "Stealing" from your friend?
i think that its all relevant because you are all friends with that one person for whatever reason, so there are always--or usually things in common.
no?

Some of my closest friends were introduced to me through my other friends.
I never looked it as stealing... more like sharing!
I don't ALWAYS get along with or care for friends of my friends... but when it happens it is great!

this happens to me, on both sides. i have met friends through friends and have had some of my friends meet and become good friends. actually, my BF and i had a mutual friend and that's how we met. we have been better friends with each other than her ever since. funny how that happens.

not at all....i think it's fine! My SIL's best friend and maid of honor and I have become good friends; we met through her and sometimes email and talk and even hang out. She's a wonderful person; it's always nice to make new friends. And now it's cool, b/c we're in SIL's wedding together!

In our circle almost everyone is a friend of a friend, who we are now friends with. I think it's sharing.

DH and I have been together for so long that I'm good friends with his friend's wives.
I don't look at it as I'm stealing his friends. It's more like the circle has expanded to include me.
I think it's great to meet new people and expand my circle of friends... Always a positive, never a negative thing.
