Friend's 40th ideas
We are going away to Boston with friends on Christmas Day. We have been going away with them the last couple of years. Families are very close, kids are best friends and we also both don't celebrate Christmas... LOL
His actual 40th Birthday is Christmas Eve so he's doing something with his family.
This is my idea and please let me know thoughts or other suggestions.
We are arriving at the hotel CHristmas Day. DH and I figured we'll bring a bottle of champagne and glasses (along with sparkling cider for the kids) and we'll have a toast in one of our rooms. I made reservations at The Chart House in Boston. They will let us bring cake so we'll bring from NJ and a candle. We are also getting his the Fire Stick as a gift.
Is that cute? Any other ideas to do or bring? I know we don't have to make it crazy, but we're very close with them.

Aww I think that's cute! The only other thing I might do is bring a HB banner for his door or have the hotel decorate his room.

Thanks! Maybe we'll get some balloons. Not sure if the hotel would do it. Plus, they'd probably charge a fortune.

A little tray of something to go with the champagne and set it all up in the room with the balloons on a table.

I think that will make him feel special! And Chart House is a great restaurant! I agree to pack a little snack to go with the champagne!
