frequent urination

i am 30 weeks and change and this week, I am literally feeling like I need to pee at least every hour. When I do go, its small amounts. No pain (well besides pressure from baby's head) but is that normal?

For those who are towards the end and go frequently, is it small amounts? I figure its pressure on my bladder from the baby making me uncomfortable even if my bladder only has small amounts of urine?

I never went through this with my son since he was never low Chat Icon

Yes, I had that both times- so annoying!! The pressure of the baby on your bladder gives the sensation of having to pee, even if you don't. Also, when you do have to pee, it can be hard to get it all out, also because of the pressure on your bladder. What helped me was to adjust my position while peeing- lean forward, lean back, etc. This helps move everything around to make sure you get everything out. HTH!

Re: frequent urination

Yup at the end I was just living in the bathroom!
I remember one day at work- I go in the stall, pee, wipe, pull my pants up.
Turn around to flush, turn back around to exit the stall and hmmmm...Have to pee again.
So before I coudl even exit the stall I just started all over again! Chat Icon

Then, the night before I went into labor I remember crying in bed because every time I laid down, I would have to get up again to pee. I was just so uncomfy and done!

So yes, I think it's normal from the baby putting pressure on your bladder!
