Frequent braxton hicks?
I was in L&D for these BH contractions yesterday and got the terbutaline, but they are back already this mornig. I am guesing this is something I am going to have to live with?? Has anyone else had BH that happen every few mintues? I go back to the doctor this afternoon so I'll ask them then, but I was curious what the normal protocol is.

i told my doc last wk about me having them a lot and he said just make sure that there isnt any pattern or regularity to when u feel them which there really isnt and they dont last long if i get up or change position they go away so he wasnt concerned

Well that's what I was having originally- just a lot of them randomly. But the night before last they became regular, aroud every 3-6 min so when I went in yesterday they gave me the terbutaline which stopped them for a few hours, but now they are back again. They aren't concerned about them because I am not dilating, but I was just wondering if there was anything else they will do about them??

wow i didnt know they could be regular like that well at least they said they arent concerned about them since ur not dilated sorry i cant be of more help

My dr told me just to make sure they aren't every 5-8 minutes and they don' have any pattern. You can have them several times per day, as long as they aren't consistent. He told me to call if I notice they are coming more frequently.
