Freezing homemade baby food
For those that make their own baby food, do you freeze the fruits or just making it on an as needed basis? If so, are you freezing them in pureed form?

Yup, freeze them as you would vegetables. In the trays, then pop out the cubes into a ziplock.
Of course that's if you're making big batches. Otherwise, just make a little and keep it in the fridge.
Just watch how much water you use when pureeing (sp?). Fruits tend to get watery when defrosting, so you might want to make them a thicker consistency.

yes, I puree and then freeze the fruit as well as the veggies.

Puree then freeze...except for bananas...I always made those as needed.

About 6 weeks in the freezer.
Up to a week in the fridge?  (not 100% sure on that one)
