Freezing fruit

If I bought strawberries on monday, can I freeze them today?

Sorry if it's a dumb question but I thought I would have used them by now.

Sure, I don't see why not.

They probably won't be that great to eat fresh once defrosted, but if you use them in a cobbler/pie/baked good, they should be just fine.

I would cut the tops off to make it easier once you defrost them.
