free classes at Southside
Has anyone taken the the free classes Southside Hospital has to offer? If so what did you think of them? Thanks

I did not yet... only researched them. However, my cousin, who gave birth in Good Sam on Christmas day took the Southside classes and she liked them very much.
Funny because my sis told me that when she delivered at Southside 10 and 13 years ago, she had to take classes at Good Sam because Southside did not have any! I guess things change full circle!

Well when I delivered in July 2007, the only class they offered was a combo c-section/childcare class. It was really good & I think they were changing it to a night of child care & a shorter CS class. It was good though, the teacher was great.
ETA: we also got a tour of the hospital

Thanks. I'm taking the classes next month. They have a L&d class, Bfing class and c-section class. I wasn't going to take them, but I figured they were free and I could use all the help I can get
