Free Classes at Huntington Hospital
If you are delivering there, I'd definitely recommend "Labor & Delivery" class. We went last night and the nurse who gave the class was really good and it was chock full of info (not many surprises for me but really educational for DH and he even said so).
We attended "Infant Care" last week but it was kinda lame (it's really about infant care DURING your hospital stay - which was covered a bit when we did the hospital tour on Saturday and in the class last night) but there was Q&A with a pediatrician (the one we happened to be considering).

I think I'm going to the BF class on Tuesday (without DH - he's got basketball playoffs). The Saturday class is the same day as my shower and the next class is 7/7 and while it's still 20 days before my DD, I don't think I want to put it off until then!

Oh that's good to know. We were planning on skipping all of the classes, but I did want to take a hospital tour. Maybe I'll should consider taking the L&D class.
Who did you call to set up the tour? Do they do them on set days or are they by appointment only?

I totally agree with you on the Infant Care class. We thought it would be more hands on type of thing. Labor and Delivery was also very enlightening for DH so that was good. I think I am going to go to breastfeeding next Saturday, 6/6.
We are going on the tour 6/13.
