Free Books for Jewish Children/PJ Library
There is an organization called the PJ Library and they send books out every month for Jewish children under age 5 (some communities have it for children under age 7) that are free.
Here is the NY Link: PJ LIBRARY
If you are in other states they have it there as well. Find your local community and click to register your child.
They start sending the books at age 6 months but it takes a few weeks for the enrollment to become effective. We have been receiving books, CDs and DVDs from them for a few years.

You keep them.
Just a PSA: They are NOT free in all areas. I know in NJ it is a free service as it's sponsored by an outside party.
Thanks to a fellow LIFer, my DD was given this as a gift when she was born, she is now almost 3 and SO looks forward to getting the books. They really are great books and beautifully illustrated as well.

We've been enrolled since Abby was born. It is a great service and we love getting the books AND CDs.

We have been getting these since Alexis was 6 months. In our area (Atlanta, GA) it is free due to a very large donation. The books have been wonderful and I really look forward to sharing them with her!

They are Jewish-themed, but the baby ones that I've received so far are more about Jewish values that are applicable to all (e.g., "Be kind to your friends."). There are a couple that if I didn't receive them from PJ Library, I wouldn't know they were Jewish books.

Thanks! DH is Jewish and we want to teach the girls about the holidays and traditions. It's hard to find books and things about it.
