Re: freaking out here
did your doctor tell you from the beginning that you cannot be induced to have a vbac?? you HAVE to go naturally, they should have told you that from the beginning. many doctors pretend to promise to try a vbac but dont follow through. try not to let her bully you into a csection if you dont want one. ultrasound can be off by A LOT in measuring size at this point so even if they say its a 9lb baby doesn't mean it's actually a 9lb baby. if you are dead set against a csection, i wouldn't do it unless the baby is in distress.
i have no experience with 2nd cs (only 1 DC so far), but i am part of ICAN, a group for c-section and vbac support and awareness. many women get bullied into unnecessary c-sections. mine was completely warranted so there are times where a c-section is definitely the best option, but many times it is pushed on patients using fear tactics. either way, good luck!!!

Re: freaking out here
I'm hoping for a VBAC myself.
They can be off when measuring the baby. They told me that they were sizing my DD at 9 lbs 1 oz a day after my due date (5 years ago) and she was born at 7 lbs 12 oz. Waaaay off.
I hope you get your VBAC

Re: freaking out here
I havent had a vbac so I dont know how that recovery is but I have had 2 c-sections and honestly the second was an easier recovery for me. I think it had a lot to do with knowing what to expect the second time around. good luck!!
