I have those all old outlets in "beige" and while I could change the cover plate I did not feel like turning off the power and re-wire new outlets to switch to white outlets.

I found at HD those "decorator outlet covers. You need to remove the original cover plate. The whole decorator outlet cover acts as a cover plate and covers the actual outlet itself for a seamless look.
