Foster Needed
Hi Everyone I was hoping you guys can help find this pup a home. I got this email from a foster group who saved this beautiful dog from death. The Contact person's name is Laura.
i just took in a new dog from the shelter after receiving an 11th hour email on Friday; he was scheduled to be euthanized the next morning. Based on his photos and temperament evaluation, I couldn't turn away and i'm glad i didn't - he's a terrific dog. i've named him Clifford.
He's the 'red' dog in the photos (the others are my dogs).
Cliffie's description:
Clifford is a great dog – good tempered, playful, athletic, well-behaved, listens well, friendly to new people, other dogs and even good around children. He walks very well and would make a good running buddy, enjoying the company of others in the park, but not distracted by them (well, he is Very Interested in squirrels). Clifford is sweet and affectionate, with slightly crossed eyes that make him look a little goofy and innocent. He hangs out in his crate quietly while I’m working on the computer and comes out to say hello when I take a break—quiet and calm in the home, mature but also playful when you want to be. He’ll play ball with you and loves pets, kisses and hugs. He sleeps quietly at night without budging, but sometimes snores... Clifford was found as a stray and is about 3 years old. He’s currently underweight at 47 lbs and I estimate will ultimately be about 55 lbs when he fills out. He’s got a big head and long legs, a handsome guy with white chest and white boots. Soon he’ll be neutered and is up to date with his shots. He’s already housebroken and, thankfully, is not a big-time marker (easy to walk)!

My small townhouse home would not be a good fit for this dog, but how do I get on that foster e mail? I'd be very interested in helping in the future?

the rescue Laura is affiliated with is called Waggy Tails they specialize in small dogs.

awww It's in manhattan. I wouldn't be able to do the vet visits and stuff there

<<<----that's the rescue i got my terrier from...i can't foster but hope they find him a home...i love our baby that they saved...she would've been killed too and she's such a great dog! thank god for them!
