Formula on a plane question

We are flying jet blue.
I know the 3.4 ounce rule for liquids but does this apply to formula too?
I was going to bring the 8oz Ready to feed bottles of smilac. Am I allowed ? How many can i take with me?

I just flew with my 21 month old who doesn't drink dairy milk, so I brought almond milk in boxes for her on the plane. I took it out before our stuff went through the x-Ray machine and had it separate. They took it on one flight to swab the outside of the package (explosives check?) but not on the other flight. On the TSA website it said something about a reasonable quantity.

You can bring whatever you want for your baby. I just had to get it specially checked. I literally had like 6 rtf cans and 3 bottles. I was afraid the flight would be delayed so I planned for armaggedon lol

I brought breast milk and formula with no issues at all. They just took the breast milk and tested it. Formula was sealed.
