We used Similac Advanced...

Same-powdered though, not ready to feed (neither of my kids could keep it down)

Similac Advance fan here too.

We kind of had the opposite problem though ... well, sort of.

We tried switching from RTF to powdered at 4 months, and they stopped sleeping through the night (went back to waking every 3 hours to eat)! Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Formula

We started with Similac advanced since that was what the hospital gave but ended up switching due to gas and lactose sensitivity.
Don't stock up on formula. The hospital will give you plenty to take home.

Re: Formula

with DD we started with enfamil (this is what the hospital gave us) but switched to enfamil gentle ease because of spitting up issues. we used the powder. I did a combination of breastfeeding/pumping and formula

Re: Formula

I will probably try Similac but wondering about Target brand too because I have heard it was ok.

Similac Advanced. Used RTF and then switched to powder (so much cheaper) and now use the BJ's brand (which it says right on the container that it is equivalent to Similac Advanced).

Of course we checked with ped first. She said Similac and Enfamil are like Pepsi and Coke, basically the same. We just used Similac because that's what the hospital used and we didn't want to mess with trying a new formula when that one worked fine for us.

We use similac advanced too but don't count on the hospital giving you some. I got zero to take home and they were only giving me what I needed at the hospital
