Former Health Republic members
I just called to make an appointment with my doctor. I go frequently because I have several autoimmune diseases. The receptionist said that Health Republic has not paid a single one of my claims since August. I had premiums deducted from my pay all the way through November. I asked her if it was just me and she said no it was everyone who had Health Republic.
I am pissed. I will be calling them tomorrow but wondered if anyone else has gotten any bills?

They went under as of 11/30. As I understand though you should not be on the hook for their portion of the bill. It seems the providers will be eating this one.

Health Republic went out of business, not sure there's anyone to call or rectify this. Did you get new insurance yet?

Sorry to hear you are going through this. I had Health Republic and received paid statements from doctor visits throughout the end of 2015.
Like other pp have said, not sure there is anyone to call or ask about this. Your doctor should NOT bill you.

The doctor did inform me over the phone that I would be receiving a bill in the mail. I'm not paying one red cent of it. I am so annoyed about it. I have taken Cigna through work, but since this is for service before their coverage period, they will not cover it. I'm going to make a few calls tomorrow and see what I can find out. I don't know what else I can do.
