Forgetful?
Anyone else seem VERY forgetful since having DC? I used to have a terrific memory, but for 6 months now can't seem to remember ANYTHING.... Stinks since I need to remember more now than I ever have before. Does anyone know if this is common? Maybe sleep deprivation? Stress? What is this?

Re: Forgetful?
YEP. And I can't even blame sleep deprivation.
My memory has never been the same since being pregnant.
I walk into a room and forget why I was there.

Re: Forgetful?
Definitely. My memory is nothing like it used to be.
I was told by my health food fanatic sister it was mineral depletion.
Not sure how true it is.

Yep..good story, two days ago, walked out of house with no car keys,no house keys, LOCKED out!
Thought DH left in car, cause he has a habit of doing that. Find out, I took them in the nite before and I DONT REMEMBER DOING THAT!!

Re: Forgetful?
OMG - Yes
I have to make lists to stay on top of things...but I can't tell you how many times I forget to make a list. Seriously - and it's bad because if it doesn't get down on paper there is pretty much no chance in he-l-l that it's getting done.

Re: Forgetful?
So glad to know I'm not losing my mind. Causes a big strain in my relationship with DH too since I was always the one responsible for helping US remember things.

Me too! I thought it was sleep deprivation, but this is almost 2 years later and I still have "mommy brain."

Re: Forgetful?
YESSSSSSSSSSSSS With a CAPITAL YYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.
and times that by 3 little ones
Very often, I tell my toddlers to remind me of things that I KNOW I will forget and they are my happy little reminders. THeyre so proud of themselves too
I write everything down (and sometimes forget where I put the list )
But I chalk it up to my personality too. I have WAYYYYY to much going on in my head
