for those with silk wraps

How often do you get a filling?

I got my nails wrapped last week near my house and went for a glue manicure near work today. The woman told me I needed a filling next week. I told her they were just wrapped last week. She said, "oh really? Well, that's right. Every 2 weeks."

Now, this is after she talked me into the glue manicure (less work / less expensive) over a gel manicure... I thought gel manicure every 2 weeks, filling every 4-6 weeks.

Any thoughts?

I've had my nails wrapped several times before - never had fillings every 2 weeks.

I had silk wraps back in the day but always had regular fill-ins every 2 weeks. I had no clue about gel manicures. I wish I did though.

With a new set, I get the silk wraps week one. The next week is a glue manicure, and then two weeks after that is a fill-in. Every two week then on out I will go for a fill-in. They do a completely new set after about 2-3 months because it's healthy for your nails to do so.

They stay the best when I go exactly when they tell me to.
