For those with school aged kids

How much do you spend on birthday presents when your kids get invited to BP's? If its not a close friends child?
do you spend the same amount all the time or will you spend more or less depending on the gift you want to give?
TIA

Depends upon who the party is for and what we are getting....

If it's not a close friend...If I get a Gift Card I always get $25...But if I buy a gift I try to keep it at $20 b/c then with the gift bag and stuff it adds up.

If it's a close friend I dont really have a set amount. I usually talk to my girls and see what they want to get their friend and I take it from there. I wont go over $50 though....

My girls are 9....

$25 max, but I typically find things at 75% off and stock up the "gift" closet.

Re: For those with school aged kids

I use to do $25 but then it was just party after party so now I usually spend $15-$20. But my oldest is now going into 5th grade so I'm sure I'll just be buying $20 gift cards. My questions is when do these parties STOP Chat Icon I sware I feel I need a job just to pay for the b-day parties Chat Icon
