Did you find it to be a challenge when they started crawling/ started walking etc...??? When my DS was at that stage we had all carpet and recently replaced all the floors in our home to hard-wood (except the bedrooms) ...I just remember even then w/ the carpet being very nervous- Does it hurt their little knees ??? We will probably invest in a large area rug at least in our TV room but I'm still nervous for DC on the way ....Just curious what your experiences have been - thanks !

Honestly, it never seemed to bother him. I thought it would, but maybe he doesn't know any differently
All I know it is hurts ME if he crawled on the concrete patio , but he was even ok with that!

I remembered reading that their knee-caps don't develop until they are 2 or 3 , so maybe thats why it doesnt seem to bother them ???...I get so worried about them falling and bumping their head/face too though- Maybe I'll just wrap the baby in bubble wrap with a helmet - LOL
