For those with DCs crawling and not really walking - playing in the backyard
What do you do with DC when you want to "play" outdoors/backyard?
DS is crawling everywhere so I can't put him on a blanket.
I can't let him crawl on the grass.
Do I lock him indoors all summer?????

I'm letting Connor crawl on the grass. There is no way to keep him on a blanket and I love to be outside in the warm weather.
He prefers to sit on his Little Tykes horse than on the grass, though

I bring our playyard out back and put a blanket underneath it and she is content in there. DD hates the grass...so she stays on the concrete on the blanket inside the playyard.

You don't mind cleaning the grass stain?
DS also puts everything in his mouth.

I let him crawl on the grass. I will usually change his clothes as soon as we get inside, so I can wash them.

Re: For those with DCs crawling and not really walking - playing in the backyard
I am really not into him crawling on the grass - Abby poops back there and even though we clean it up - I'd be too scared we missed some.
Oh - and we have about 5 rabbits that are always back there -- and they are pooping maniacs also.
The thought of it just grosses me out.
I have no idea what I'm going to do once it get really nice out!

I bring a big blanket and put her on that with some toys. She HATES the feeling of grass right now, so she stays on the blanket.
