For those with an anterior placenta...
When did you know for sure you were feeling the baby move/kick?
I thought I felt the baby a few times, but I couldn't say for sure. I found out on Monday at my Level II that I have an anterior placenta, so I still might not feel the baby for another couple of weeks. But, I'm so anxious!!!
Also, I was reading about counting movements towards the end and now I'm worried that if I can't feel as much, how will I know if something is wrong with the baby??
Btw- I'm 21w today.
TIA!

Re: For those with an anterior placenta...
I have anterior and I thought felt baby at 18 but wasn't sure. Went back to doc at 20 and knew for sure. Now I'm at 25 and this little girl is kicking away!!! I can even watch her punch my stomach and dh is thrilled that he can finally feel her so I think you should have no trouble feeling the movement later in pregnancy

Re: For those with an anterior placenta...
Ugh. I'm 22 weeks today, and still only feel things that *might* be flutters, but I'm not really sure. I am dying to feel my baby already! My ob said that she had AP with her first DS, and she didn't feel him until 24 weeks. I'm hoping I feel something definite soon! It's so frustrating, isn't it?

Re: For those with an anterior placenta...
I didn't know I had anterior placenta until I was 28 weeks and went for an elective 3d/4d scan.
That being said, I felt distinctive baby nudges at 20 weeks a couple of days although I felt a few flutters and taps at 17 1/2.
Since the 20 weeks though, i feel her constantly! at 31 weeks now, my belly will pop and move I think once the baby is at this size, the anterior placenta isn't as much of a barrier since the little one is so strong!

Re: For those with an anterior placenta...
This is my second baby and I have anterior placenta (didn't have it with DS).
I felt movements from 16-18 weeks but I wasn't sure they were the baby. I kept thinking maybe it was gas
At 18 weeks I would feel a random movement maybe 1 time a day or every few days. It wasn't until 21-23 weeks that I felt them a bit more often (a couple of times every day). By week 26 I was feeling bigger movements and could see them from the outside on ocassion.
