I acutally never used it. Just put them right in the newborn side.

I used it til she was about 6 months old, she wouldn't sit up in the water and kept lifting her coolie up.

She took her first bath without today. So much easier for me, but she had a fit for some reason. Maybe she just needs to get used to being in the water???
