For those who got the 8000 tax credit
How long did it take you to get it in the mail? We sent ours in Sept 1. Our accountant said it could take up to 3 months - did anyone else take that long?
Anyone know if there is a way to check the status?

We applied for it with our originally filed return not an amended tax return so we got it really quick. but in general, the IRS takes about 3 months to process any amended return. Since its after October 15 I would say you will probably get it sooner, but there's really is no way to find out.
