For those who do Shellac... how often do you do it in a row?

For those who do Shellac... how often do you do it in a row?
Is it necessary to give your nails a "rest" and get a regular mani in between ever? I've gotten it twice already and totally obsessed...... I may never wanna get a regular mani ever again!!

I did shellac for 6 months and have been doing Gelaxy for 2 with no break and my nails are strong and look great. I don't see a reason to take a break!
