How often and when do you pump? It was suggested that I pump 2 hours after I feed DS but it doesn't always seem like he lasts long enough in between feedings to pump and then have enough milk to feed him the next time.

Try to see if you can pump right after each nursing session to signal your body to make more milk (I'm assuming you're trying to build up a freezer stash?). Eventually your body will catch up and produce more milk for your DS. He is more efficient than the pump so he's probaby taking in more with each nursing session than you can pump so don't worry about it. I'm sure he's getting enough.

When DD only went 2 hours between feedings I tried to do 1/2 hour after her first feeding so that I was done at least an hour before she had her next feeding.
